Hi all,

Most of you probably noticed that our server was down on Monday April 10. The reason for the downtime was due to a server upgrade. I decided to pull off the task at 11pm on Sunday night. I usually run into problems when I think, "Oh, this is a no-brainer and quick install."

HA! Ever do that?

Anyway, it's all good now. Upgrades have been completed and things are all good again. If you see any troubles with the site, please let me know. Thanks.

If I set the time to my time zone (GMT-8), the time as shown at the bottom of the page is off. In fact when I choose a time zone in the user cp options, it shows a different time zone at the bottom of the page. I.E. if I pick GMT-8 it shows GMT-7. If I pick GMT-7 it shows GMT-6 but that gives me the correct time for my time zone. Now that I've said all that, I'm confused!

I upgraded some core operating system files. The system needed a major update. It was getting to the point where I was installing a lot of work-around that had already been fixed in newer versions of core OS modifications.

The site will probably take a little longer to load some things initially. But, after you've been browsing through the club you should noticed some speed improvements to database queries and load times. Ie: Search should be faster.

I'll have to look into the time thing some more.
