WOW! It looks new. Notes say it's been bead blasted....if that's a typical result of bead blasting, I will definitely look into it for refurbishing cast parts.

the auction listed is on yahoo.japan, I dont think these "2400" valve covers go for that kind of price in the usa. do they?

Another in Great Britain got up to around $280 or something and didn't meet reserve.

It would look even sweeter with several coats of clear on it. I just did my diff cover like this and it looks great. Reminds me of the finish on some vintage motorcycle lower fork tubes.

Adam. I am inthe process of having mine glass beaded as well and want to coat it with clear as you have done. What type of clear paint did you use that will withstand the engine heat? Thanks
