MikeZcar Posted April 13, 2006 Share #1 Posted April 13, 2006 1972 510 Wagon, AT A/C 56k miles, 94 year old granny(not mine) bought it new, have owned tons of old cars in my 50 years and this is the cleanest ever. NO rust, all original, except tires and the like. Runs like a new one. Is there a 510 site as good as this Z site out there? Mike

sblake01 Posted April 13, 2006 Share #3 Posted April 13, 2006 What good would your Toyota be to him if he has a Datsun? Anyway, Mike, try this web page:http://dimequarterly.tierranet.com/
AWC Posted April 13, 2006 Share #4 Posted April 13, 2006 Awesome! Those 510s are great and that one looks like it is brand new. Does it have the L16? There is no 510 site as good as this one, but I believe there is still a mailing list and the DimeQuarterly site has some good reference information on it. Man--that's the sweetest station wagon ever!

MikeThat is a beautiful car, I had a yellow one just like it but not as cherry....what a lucky grab. If you don't mind could I ask how much you paid for it and how you heard about it? I understand if you don't want to share.
MikeZcar Posted April 13, 2006 Author Share #8 Posted April 13, 2006 Super nice Mike!!!After all the recent events, and the black pearl, this has to be a great change of pace.Beautiful car!!!Jim D."Zup"This is the "other car" I bought, if I can weather the storm will keep the BP and this car. 510 will go into the shop as it's really hard to believe how clean it is. Already had someone offer to double my money on the 510 but it is in fact a "better" car than the BP, not that the BP is a bad car this one is just so clean and untouched. So if something HAS to go it will be the BP, hopefully I can keep both.

If you don't mind could I ask how much you paid for it and how you heard about it? I understand if you don't want to share. It was in the paper(go figure) "72 Datsun Station Wagon low miles". The price was "right" to say the least.
Montezuma Posted April 13, 2006 Share #10 Posted April 13, 2006 It was in the paper(go figure) "72 Datsun Station Wagon low miles". The price was "right" to say the least. In southern California that car would have ended up on Ebay, granny most likely never heard of Ebay. 510 wagons are hot in Cali. If you were ever to sell it on Ebay there is a very good chance the highest bidder will be from Cali, most likely southern California. "Enjoy the Ride".
