I'm surprised that someone who has "too many cars" and wants to sell this one is "driving the car daily". I would have thought that it would just be sitting around undriven in that case.

I agree that $800 for a running car might not be too bad.

That's a steal for a running '71 California car! If the guy were smart he would have listed it on Ebay and got a hell of a lot more for it!:stupid:

It might not be such a steal. SF is basically a penninsula in the middle of a large body of salt water. Pacific Ocean on one side and the inner bay on the other. SF is a very damp place with ocean fog a large majority of the year, including summer time. I'd take a look at it before declaring this a good deal. It may be a complete rust bucket disaster waiting to happen.
