How much are wheels worth?

If your not really fond of your current wheels, I would suggest you figure out what you want to replace them with, and make sure you charge at least that much to the person who wants to buy your current wheels. That way you get the wheels you really want with no "out-of-pocket" expense.:D

Here is a picture of them... I suppose that will help. I really had no idea that these rims were popular. Personally, I think they are just OK.
I consider those Enkei 92s to be kind of an 'in-between school' wheel. Not modern like the Konigs you linked to, but not truly old school either. (At least not to me.) They were very popular in the mid-80s, which makes them a bit too new for the vintage look I'm shooting for. I do like the silver face version like yours. That was not a commonly seen color when I was selling them new - 95% were either black or the more normal (for 92s) rather vivid gold.

But they're darn nice wheels, if they're in good shape and someone likes the style. As Ron said, about $100 each if they're 14", a bit more if they are 15".

exactly, Doug... I just want to know if I can get enough for my current wheels. I like them ok, but THESE

would be sweet.

Thanks for the help.

Matt

Maybe these would work for you:

Tell the guy that wants to buy your rims that you'll trade him even-up for these :classic:

Matt,

That is a pretty good price for the wheel and tire package. I have multiple sets of the Enkei 92's in both 14" and 15" and even one set in 16". Over the years the average works out to about $100-150 per wheel without tires. The exception was the set of 16" Epsilons that are on my '81 280ZX. I had to buy the wheels and Quickor springs and Bilstein struts toegther and it wound up costing about $800 with shipping from San Diego to the east coast.
