New fenders and hood!!!

Recommended Posts

I have actually had these parts for a couple of weeks, but have been so buried that I didn't get around to celebrating their arrival.

I spent all last summer trying to repair my old rusted out fenders with fiberglass and bondo to no avail.

Now that I know the sheet metal is available from the dealer, I wonder why I bothered...

I have checked inside, but keep wrapping them back up because I am terrified of scratching them BEFORE I install them. (what happens when I install them I know will be scary...)

Check out the cool way that "Do not drop" got translated!

Just curious walter, where are you in Indy. I live over in Avon. Looks like you have almost as much to do as I do. Atleast my 71 was a CA car and is pretty much rust free. I would unwrap those pieces and proudly hang'em high in your garage. the "Don't throw down" is great

LOL

That way too funny! "Don't throw down my fenders or I'll have to throw down on you." I love the cute little lion in the place of breaking glass. What's the deal with that?

It reads "don't drop or throw." I guess "handle with care" would be the English equivalent. The dazed lion is probably the delivery company's or Nissan's symbol for what will happen if those instructions are not followed. The English equivalent would probably be those sillouettes of broken glass cups you sometimes find on boxes. The Japanese are all about cute symbols.

I'd take those fenders to the office and hang 'em on my wall.
