Posted April 24, 200619 yr comment_164776 Ok, here's a picture of the finished install along with the bracket I made. I didn't take any pics during the install, sorry. I got the idea for the bracket from a picture I saw on somebody's website. I think his name was Jason and he's got a nice blue 73' 240Z. I made my braket a little different that his mostly because I couldn't really see how the back side of his braket was made. That and it looked like he had a custom battery tray which it mouted to and I don't, so I made my own design. Maybe he'll chime in.... Click the image to go to my gallery and see the rest. April 24, 200619 yr Author comment_164810 Thanks for the MSD unit Dave. It's working great. Combined with the new Blaster II coil the car idles much smoother and starts up easier. I'm surprised you didn't notice and/or mention that the headlight harness is not installed yet. That comes next. As for noticing anything this week, not likely. Considering how busy i've been trying to get ready for the 1200 mile trip to the MSA event. which includes.......... installed 5-speed ZX tranni installed an over-flow reservoir for the 280Z radiator after flushing it installed new (used) door panels valve adjustment oil change fuel filter and hoses repainted one of my inspection lids after dripping brake fluid on it polishing and painting little things here and there double checking every thing full interior cleaning including fixing a bunch of little things wash and wax with minor touch-ups burning new C.D.'s for the trip adjusting carbs for better gas milage (we're up to $2.90 per gallon) building a bunch of extra harness's for sale at the event and I'm sure there's more. Wish me luck. Dave Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19754-msd-6al-wcustom-bracket-install-pics/#findComment-164877 Share on other sites
