Well, here's what I was going to post at the time but my "She Who Must Be Obeyed 'Cause She's Always Right Even When I prove She's Wrong" had thrown the magazine I was going to quote from into the garbage bin and I had to retrieve it. As everyone seemed to be having fun with the thread anyway, I thought I'd wait a few days before trying again.

Anyway,

There's an article in the R.A.C.Q's magazine, The Road Ahead, that demonstrates REAL pulling power.

I quote,

"Veteran truckie John Atkinson set a new world road train record in February when he dragged 1474m of trailers over the required 100m distance in Clifton.

Using a tri- drive Mack Titan and pulling 113 trailers with a weight in excess of 1399 tonnes. Atkinson overcame searing 38 degrees C heat------ to regain the record he held in 2003".

There now, .... wasn't that worth waiting for ???????????????
