I am installing an A/C system into a 1970 240 (which was not available) and would like to find out how the Evaporator is installed under the dash using the original blower motor. Does anyone have a picture??? Any help would be appreciated!!

It involved cutting a hole in the side of the blower housing and mounting a duct that was part of the evap housing. I've seen it done several different ways depending upon the installer. Here's a couple of pictures courtesy of some of our members that they've gracioulsy allowed me to use for my Z MVAC research.

That is what I needed!!!!! If anyone has the cutting area please let me know!

Guess what..... It is the fresh air vent that the evaporator slides into.... No cutting involved.. The Picture is worth a thousand words.
