Adding T-tops on non t-top 280zx

I was wondering if anyone tried putting t-tops on a 280zx that doesn't have them origionally. I noticed on my 1979 280zx that the openings are stamped into the roof under the headliner. Would it be better to cut the holes out, or cut the whole roof off and put the whole t-top roof on? I have a parts car with all the interior parts I would need. Any info would be appreciated. THANKS

Number one, you are in the wrong forum....this is the carb sys forum. Number two, why the hell would you wanna replace a hardtop with T-tops? :cry: :cry:
