On my recent move I saw two intersting plates, the first was a 350z that read "3FIDYZ" that was in Louisiana.

Then somewhere around Kentuky or Tennesse I get passed by a Dark Blue Corvette. The guy's license plate read, I $^!# you not, "GodsGift" I tried my best to get a photo of this but it was just about dusk and my digital camera couldn't focus going 80mph down the road.

I still don't know what the license plate means, but I thought he might be a evangelical pastor and he paid for it with his partions donations, hence the car being God's Gift. That or he is just an egocentric prik.

that sure is funny, here all the z drivers are lame, mostly run down non-maintained, therefor little to none custum plates

When you say 'here' do you mean Southern California? I've seen lots of nice Zs here and many with personalized plates as well as savy owners. What part of So Cal are you in? Do you ever go to the shows?

Onethiung i like to ask people with vanity plates is "why do you need one?" or "Why did you get one?"

People must be 'vain' in order to get vanity plates... LOL

So what is Vain about "A7DZ"?

Only says what year.

Why get one? Washington State requires plates on our cars. Why not have fun with it.:smoke: Need none.ROFL just fun.

..."why do you need one?" or "Why did you get one?" ...

"Why do you ask?" is the only reply needed for those types of questions.

While you may not want a personalized plate, why do you feel you have the right to question someone else's decision to get one?

Don't bother replying, the question is moot.

It's the same reason why mr. so-and-so has to buy "$42,000 SUV with a $1200 sound system."

three thongs drive every decision ofyour typical American person- vanity, greed (selfishness), and fear. All to some degree, small or great. Thetrick is to use it with humility, or another's advantage, in mind.

You might expect the same person to ask you why you're driving in a (cheap) car that only seats two, and mot much more.

And no, I don't have vanity plates. I couldn't even think of what I would put on one.:)
