I just finished creating a new area in the gallery for vanity plates. We had a collection of these floating around a few years ago, but, it would be nice to put all of them in a central gallery. Click HERE to open the gallery.

I agree.

After looking through the gallery, I see a bunch of different kinds of photos. Most were of only the license plates, but some were of the whole back or front of the car, and a few were artsy-style of the whole car so the license plate was hard to read. I think we should agree on one format or form of the photos, so they will be more consistant.

TomoHawk, if you have no interest in these plates, and all you seem to want to do is judge those who do, then don't complain about the format of the thread/gallery that apparently causes you such displeasure, just ignore it like many seem to do with you. The thread is 'Upload your vanity plate photos'. You don't have one. You don't care for them. Apparently you don't care much for people that have them either. Sorry, but you asked for that. I'm done here. Don't bother to respond to me on this. Let it go!

It looks like Mike wanted to sort of recreate the way it was before, so what I saw didn't go with that idea, and he didn't lay down any guidelines, so you get whatever different things people will think up. I'm in no way making any kind of judgments on what picturethere were, I'm saying that there were a bunch of different kinds, and there was no continuity. If I was making a judgment, it would be very clear ( like on the 350Z thing.) Make sure you get your assumptions correct first, please.

In fact, I like the vanity plates idea. I'd like to see more of them with a Z in the name tho. I prefer the close-ups best ( nothing wrong with that.)

Hi guys, I probably won't add any more rules to the vanity plate category. That's just something ELSE to manage. So, here's the main rule.... The vanity plate photo must show a vanity plate somewhere in the picture.

I want a vanity plate that says JEDI. Unfortunately, it's already taken. Vanity plates are neat because they are a classy way of self expression.
