Jeff G 78 Posted May 7, 2006 Share #1 Posted May 7, 2006 Here is my Z with the Panasports I got off Ebay. They are 16x7 and have Hankook Ventus R-S2 P225/50R16 tires on them. The car needs paint, but once done, I think they'll look great.

240ZX Posted May 8, 2006 Share #5 Posted May 8, 2006 Ahhhh! Feels good to have some nice wheels on the Z, doen't it? They look very appropriate and the color matches nicely with your Z's paint. Congrats!
Jeff G 78 Posted May 8, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted May 8, 2006 Thanks for the compliments. I really like the color of the wheels. Someday, when the car is painted, it will be a bit closer to silver. The splotch you see on the driver's door will be the final color. When my buddy painted the engine bay, he sprayed that spot on the door to get a good idea of the difference. Here is the enging bay pic to see the color better. It's still gold, but a bit more of a champaign color.http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i256/jeffg78/91bb7395.jpg

=Enigma= Posted May 13, 2006 Share #9 Posted May 13, 2006 Looks great man. You are close to pushing me over the edge. I was looking for something unique but these wheels just look so good on the car....... If I go this route I would be painting mine gold to go with the brown. Jeff G 78 Posted May 13, 2006 Author Share #10 Posted May 13, 2006 Thanks guys. Enigma, Panasport does offer the wheels in a gold finish. MSA quit selling all of the colors, but I believe you can still get them from other dealers. The biggest problem is that the price keeps going up. I was lucky to find my set on Ebay. I got them a few hundred cheaper than most places charge.
Palmer Posted May 13, 2006 Share #11 Posted May 13, 2006 Jeff:Do your Tokicos have a 1 inch drop? Just curious because I'm looking to get 16" Pans myself. I'm installing ST springs with a one inch drop and I don't want the wheels to crowd the fender. Yours look great. I'm in the process of installing MMotorsports front disc upgrade and I'm pretty sure the 16" wheels will give the calipers enough room.
Jeff G 78 Posted May 14, 2006 Author Share #12 Posted May 14, 2006 Palmer, I measured the wheel lip height before and after the spring install and got exactly a 1" drop at all four corners. I expect this to grow a bit after the springs sag though.
