May 8, 200618 yr comment_166587 The intake on the 260 engine is a good one. You will need the insulators that fit between the carbs and the intake. The ones for the round tops are much thicker. The linkage that fits between the round tops is a different length the flat top length and will not work. You will also need the air cleaner so you can connect the various hoses . Like the over flow lines from the float bowls and the clean air supply line that goes to the fuel tank . The 260 air cleaner is different and can only work if you get some kind of adapter . I think Ztherapy sells them . Where are you , in the USA ? May 9, 200618 yr comment_166820 Robby, have faith, you are headed in the right direction with the round tops. As Beandip mentioned....you'll need the thicker insulators (and gaskets of course) between the SU's and the manifold. Regarding the linkage, shop around and you will find what you're looking for. If you don't want to scrounge up OEM air cleaners, there is always aftermarket units. Also, I'm not clear if the 260 choke cables will swap to the round tops but, its a good chance they do. Thanks man, I just figured round tops would be a better way to go, org. i wanted to go side draft webers, but tuning, base price will kill my wallet, ya thanks 240zx, Ill have to i guess just collect some parts here and there and see if i can peice it together, let me know if you have any leads on on linkage thanks again _RoBBy Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19955-quick-question/#findComment-166849 Share on other sites

There are more suppliers that likely have the parts but I'm not recalling any others at the moment. And there is always the internet....best search tools I've ever used. May 9, 200618 yr comment_166870 MSA has the center linkage brand new for $32.15. Others may have it a couple buck cheaper, but this is easy to find.http://www.thezstore.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=11-3003&Category_Code=PFFC01 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19955-quick-question/#findComment-166870 Share on other sites
