Posted May 9, 200618 yr comment_166835 Hello, I am looking at buying a 1975 280z, I am asking to see if his price is correct. The int, has no carpet, torn seats, but a good dash, the body is all primer, but it has a crease in the fender, the body as no rust, all it need is to be painted. The Engine is a RB20DET, with 47000 miles, the transmission is the same milleage with a two week old stage 3 clutch, he is asking 4K is this price right? Thanks alot. May 9, 200618 yr comment_166836 Check the frame, battery tray, hatch area and inner rear fenders for any rust. If there's ANY it needs to be taken care of before it becomes a problem. Not that a rust bucket Z like mine won't work, and still be a lot of fun, but not for 4 grand, not even with everything that went into that engine swap.Try maybe 3500 and see if he'll bite. If the car's in good shape body wise, it's certainly worth the price...and if the crease is in the front fender, you can still get them right from Nissan I believe, otherwise Black Dragon and MSA make replacements.
