May 10, 200618 yr comment_166954 Maybe they came in different types or maybe I just haven't noticed, but what's that flying-saucer thing on the top of the manifold? May 10, 200618 yr comment_166957 Thats for the EGR (emission) The 260 has them. I hate being a doubting Thomas, however I don't think the're from a 240Z. May 10, 200618 yr Author comment_166970 They look like 3 screw 240z round tops bolted to a 260z manifold or maybe the car had air con, and thats the thing that increased the idle speed when the ac was on.But it has been a while since i saw my carbies...... The idle speed a/c valve was mounted at an angle with a hook like attachment to the throttle mechanism. The manifold is most definately off a RS-30 or derivitives, which leads to speculation about the SU's. A bit of a bitza I would say..... Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19991-oz-ebay-240z-carbies-going-cheap/#findComment-167223 Share on other sites
