May 10, 200618 yr comment_167012 The JATCO (JApanese ATrnsmission COmpany) made the 4NBL transmission for many years, and that one went into small trucks and other cars besides S30, so I think you could assume it's a pretty good unit. Mine went 120k miles before it went.Some people were trying to hook up a 4sp auto from the Maxima...
