Check Out My New Intakes!!

Recommended Posts

Okay guys, I have question for those that have eliminated the little vacumn pot on the balance tube. What do you do with the pivot bracket on the accellerator linkage between the carbs? Just leave it there? Remove it some how? It just seems tacky to leave it there when you strip the balance tube down like the E41 model.

Thanks,

Chris

The intakes will go great with the metal fan ! ROFL Really they are looking Gooood, K did a kick as& job . Gary

The metal fan will only be used WAAAaaaaaaaaay down the road when this baby is retired from racing and gets a well desired restoration.

Well I guess that dispells the myth about smoothing out intakes.

I have heard people say that the roughness is better for air fuel mixture.

If Chino 240z got a 10hp increase, I guess polishing is a good thing.

Now I'm curious as to how valuable a N36 intake is over just porting and polishing my stock intake on my "72" model. I just got outbid on ebay by $1 for a N36 that sold for $41! Please PM me on who does this.

We were suprised with the dyno results and will probably make another run on the same dyno sometime this summer again. But the intakes are not polished smooth and shiney. They have the slight sanding striations in the metal, so I would say it is more of a rough finish and not polished.
