Posted May 16, 200618 yr comment_167632 I'm interested in a 240z in Sydney Australia. The car has been sitting for over ten years and will definately need restoring. It has rust in the sill's (not sure on the floors as you couldn't get under it). The interior is intact.would love to know how much it would be worth in Australian dollars?. May 16, 200618 yr comment_167659 Hard/impossible question to answer based on the information you have given us. Do you have any pics of the car? Where has it been sitting for 10 years, under cover in a garage or out in a yard?Joseph Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/20062-how-much-is-this-worth/#findComment-167659 Share on other sites
May 16, 200618 yr Author comment_167735 As for the pics I have none available. I will be down there this August so i'm hoping i can get some or the car. The car itself has been sitting in his front yard for over 10 yr's, and every now and then he puts a cover on it. He is locaed over near Blactown/Windsor area and it's under a tree. I have also been told it DOES have rust in the roof and requires alot of work as mentioned before it would need a full restoration as every thing would be ceased from sitting.Curtis Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/20062-how-much-is-this-worth/#findComment-167735 Share on other sites
May 17, 200618 yr comment_167770 I would be reluctant to pay more than $1000 for it based on your description.Sounds like a lot of work. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/20062-how-much-is-this-worth/#findComment-167770 Share on other sites
May 17, 200618 yr comment_167780 $1000 sounds about right. You's spend about 5 to 10 thousand having it restored, so you may as well find the best one you can get.The floors can rust from the inside out too from under the the tarmat where it has separated from the metal due to age and/or accident damage. May 17, 200618 yr comment_167833 $1k max sounds right. Not sure what level of 'restoration' you are looking for but you could spend $35k on a resto if you wanted to.Joseph Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/20062-how-much-is-this-worth/#findComment-167833 Share on other sites
