What kind of bumper would I put on my 73 because in the Victoria British catolog there are bumpers for 71-72 and 74 but nothing specifically for a 73 Datsun. Only 73 bumpers will fit on the 73. If you don't want to spend that much money keep an eye on e-bay. They will pop up every now and again and depending on the condition they usually go for 100-200 bucks. Also try some boneyards. Where are you at and maybe someone could suggest a boneyard in your area.

Is that actually true? I thought the main difference, aside from the size was the mounts. If I was to get a set of 71-72 mounts, couldn't I just bolt up the 71-72 bumpers to my 73'? I'm sure this has been covered elsewhere. ....off I go...

You are correct I should have specified, 73 bumpers will only fit 73 mounts. And yes if you got 71-72 mounts you can use a 71-72 bumper on your 73.
