May 22, 200618 yr comment_168351 Never heard of anyone doing this but if you find someone who does then send them our way. We all could use a new tank.. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/20138-gas-tank/#findComment-168351 Share on other sites
May 22, 200618 yr comment_168428 Dood, as of this writing you have 4 posts and in three of them you are asking where you can get a plastic tank. There's no need for this. Ask the question once and bump the thread if necessary. If someone knows they will reply.IMHO,Adam Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/20138-gas-tank/#findComment-168428 Share on other sites
May 22, 200618 yr comment_168432 If you are having problems with a rusty tank. Contact POR-15 and buy there kit to seal the tank . I for one wouldn't want a PLASTIC FUEL TANK on any car I own. There are others that make sealer kits that will coat the inside of your tank and end the rust problems . Summit , Eastwood , and JC Whitney to name three more. Good luck with your problem and I hope this solves it for you . May 22, 200618 yr comment_168433 Actually, most - if not all - cars made on the past 20 years or so have come from the factory with plastic tanks. Very common on modern cars, maybe universal. I know for a fact that both of my family cars ('91 Jetta GLI and '96 328i) have plastic tanks.
