Posted May 24, 200618 yr comment_168699 hey, been a member of this site for awhile but my dedication to my 71 240z hasn't been as enthusiastic until the beginning of this year. i have sanded the car down to bare metal (exterior) and now its time for interior and under chassis to get clean and ready for the body shop. still haven't decided with all original or slightly modded. the body thus far has turned out to be rust free relatively straight (and painted at least eight times that i can tell):disappoin what is the general consensus for the disc brake conversion kit for the 240?laterSteve'71 240zTucson, AZwerd@ballisticimages.comwww.ballisticimages.com Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/20176-sup/ Share on other sites
May 24, 200618 yr comment_168703 There are a numer of disc conversions you can do to your Z. If you are refering to changing out the rear drum brakes for lets say, the 240SX/280ZX Turbo calipers and 280ZX discs, then the answer is yes....its a plus up deal. You will have upgraded to a more modern brake, its easier to service, and they look far better than the drum brakes. Do they provide better performance? Well, you'll get different opinions on this! I know I'm pleased with mine! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/20176-sup/#findComment-168703 Share on other sites
