tnkrstoyco Posted May 31, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted May 31, 2006 Thanks, the 78 runs good but needs a clutch and some minor body damage and a little rust in the rear quarters. The 74 260z is # RLS30-000078 it's been in the barn I found it in for the past 10 years and is an auto.
Zup Posted May 31, 2006 Share #4 Posted May 31, 2006 Hey Steve---good to see ya join in here. :classic: This site is the best when it comes to the early Z'z, but you get around to all of em since you have one of each Gen. Someone needs to come up with inflatable garages for our ever increasing collections----or Know of any vacant aircraft hangers? Jim D. EScanlon Posted June 1, 2006 Share #5 Posted June 1, 2006 Check out the Steel Frame Carports at Costco. At $169 each, and measuring 10' x 20' they're ample enough to park the car in and still have room to get in and out of both doors and STILL park the lawn tractor behind it.FWIWE
beandip Posted June 1, 2006 Share #6 Posted June 1, 2006 Steve , welcome to the club. There is a lot of knowledge here if you have any problem with the early Zs I know there are members here that have the answers. Your later cars maybe a problem though . Your 300 and 350 pose a different area of knowledge not many of us can help with . But ask away . Gary

Someone needs to come up with inflatable garages for our ever increasing collections----or Know of any vacant aircraft hangers? Jim D. "Zup" Thanks Jim and everyone. That hanger down at the SE end of the airport is available. Just north of the shop, Jim. I do have that fenced in lot down across the road from where the cars are now, the one I was using to put pawned stuff in. I figured I'd need to expand my research and knowledge to the early gens. Besides I'm on almost every 300 and 350 site around the country, even in New Zealand. I did put up a 20x36 "ghetto garage" as the wife calls it, but it's full od DD's.
