URGENT: Which tires? Bridgestones or Yokohamas?

I sold tires for a living for over 20 years. So I can honestly say there isn't a concrete answer to that question. One may be better than the other for my car and type of driving, but the other may be better for you. It depends on which one best meets your needs and expectations.

Arne, I don't know what to do with you. Just give me an opinion please. They both serve the same purpose, and are the same class of tires.

my opinion is:

if they really do serve the same purpose, and are really are the same class of tire ............. TOSS A COIN and be done with it.

Bryan,

If you can't make up your mind, save the $44 and use it elsewhere on the car-you' won't know the difference in the tires, but you might get something for the $44 that will be worth the difference!

What is the cost of a tank of gas relative to the qualty of a set of tires anyway...

Choose by Tread Pattern.

The first two are the Bridgestone, then the Yokohama...the third is a lot more money at $81.00 each, but they do make a bold statement, they're Yokohama AVS ES100 in your size.

FWIW

Just slightly tangent to the topic, I have Yokohama A-509 tires on my Z. I absolutely love them but they don't make them anymore and what they do make is not really comparable. These tires stick in the corners, ride smooth, etc. Don't know what I'll do when it's time to replace them.
