Posted June 5, 200618 yr comment_170032 OK, so I have a few extras I want to get rid of. I'll probabl think of/find other stuff later, so if I do, I'll add it to the list. I'll post some pics after dinner when my camera has charged. A set or rear calipers and discs off a 1983 280zx, including flexi lines. Front calipers off the same car. A 15/16in master cylinder, including the proportioning bit that is below it off the same car. These brake parts worked fine when they came off the car, and have been sitting in my garage for about a year or so. R200 off the same car. Rear left hand strut casing, stub axle and control arm from a 240z or 260z Drivers door window in good nick with the metal parts still attached. (240z) Make an offer, you will probably get it. Also, a one piece fibreglass G-nose. Needs a little sanding and filling but does fit up OK, $200. I wanted to fit this to my car, but never got around to it. (heard that one before) Since I will be selling the car soon, there is no use keeping it. June 5, 200618 yr comment_170038 Curious about the stub axle? Do you only have one? Are they 260z stub axles or 240z? I'm after the 260z ones which apparently have more splines and are stronger. June 6, 200618 yr Author comment_170111 Stub axle is the 240Z one. I heard the later ones were stronger, but still had the same splines. Also, I'm very hesitant to sell the G-nose to someone without them looking at it first. It isn't bad, but it isn't perfect so I want to make sure they know what they are getting. June 6, 200618 yr comment_170146 Is the R200 an LSD type (Sorry if this is a stupid question!)? Do you know the ratio? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/20305-cleaning-out-the-shed-few-spare-parts/#findComment-170146 Share on other sites
June 6, 200618 yr Author comment_170151 R200 is a single spinner of unknown ratio. The plan is to pull off the rear cover and count the teeth. June 6, 200618 yr comment_170152 Shouldn't need to count the teeth, it should have a stamp on it somewhere like 37:11 or 37:9 I think 37:9 would be a great diff . June 7, 200618 yr Author comment_170287 Murph, I just measured the rear strut tube and it's 51mm. I might get to the diff tonight, but I just got my door locks back for the Vette, so that will be first.
