Posted June 7, 200618 yr comment_170280 i just recently replaced my 280zx distributor with the e12-80 module for a remanufactured unit. I still have my e12-80 but im running the new distributor with the module it came with. Now, ever since i reinstalled the new dizzy, i have been having problems similar to a revlimiter. It wont rev past 4.5-5K... i have already replaced the distributor cap, rotor, wires, and plugs and am still geting the same results. Static timing is at 18 degrees and 35 degrees total timing. My question is, is the new module on my new dizzy a remanufactured e12-80? Would something like this cause my sputter on top end?
