I personally like the classifieds the way they are. The only exception would be, if each section defaulted to the most recent ad instead of the most viewed ad. I am always looking to see what is available and therefore I look often. I like that they are set aside for those that want to go there. If I'm reading the newspaper, I don't want to read the entire paper to find all ads. I want to go to that section and leave what I don't want to read to those that want to read it. Just my .02, no more valid tan anyone else's.

I agree with Bryan, 100%. Especially the part about it defaulting to the most viewed, rather than the most recent. It seems to me that when I started on this board about a year ago, most recent was the default. That changed when the software was updated a while back.

I thought this site was a forum for the discussion of our beloved S30's, not whether some Joe Blow has a tail light panel for sale.

Yes, I enjoy the posts on parts availability, rarity, history and even their quirkiness. Links & pics of low vin cars on ebay, 4x4 Z's & bondo/fiberglass monsters are interesting or even humorous. But the everyday ho-hum "for sale/wanted" ad has its place.

Quite a few car magazines have a classified section and they're in the back where they should be. Most people buy the magazine for its information not for the ads. It's the same with this site, we mainly come here for the knowledge gained and shared.

I enjoy and use the classified section. I've bought from them. Please add my votes to keep classifieds in their own category/section, and display them by a "most recent first" sort. I drop in that section about twice a week to see "what's new", and find myself sifting through earlier postings first. A "most recent first" format actually will draw me in each day just to see what popped up. Thanks for entertaining suggestions for improvement.

I find this site EXCEPTIONALLY educational!
