June 18, 200618 yr comment_171419 For most Zs, yes. The exception is the '70 and early '71 240Zs. They came with separate keys - one for the ignition and one for everything else. June 19, 200618 yr comment_171524 In the US, they went to the one-key-fits-all program starting with 1/71 production. Other parts of the world were different. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/20461-door-keys/#findComment-171524 Share on other sites
June 20, 200618 yr Author comment_171623 I got my ignition key to work in the passenger door, but not the hatch, or the driver door. I guess those ones are just worn out because those are the ones that were used the most. June 20, 200618 yr comment_171625 You can remove the door locks and hatch lock, take them to a locksmith and have him set each cylinder to your ignition key. They usually charge about $15 per lock.
