Anyone on here using it? What does it sound like? I bought the full Al exhaust MSA offers and it comes with that muffler. The guy at MSA said the Super Turbo was quieter than the regular Turbo muffler and overall it wasn't loud. Is that true?

I don't want the car to be loud, just a little more throaty than stock. I'd hate for it to sound like a bumbllebee or something.

Thanks Mark.

I guess i'll install it on the car and see if i like it, then go the pre muffler way if i don't. Besides the resonance, you liked the sound before the glasspack install? How loud was it?

After reading all this, my plan is to go smaller tubing on mine when I do the exhaust. Since mine will have an essentially stock L24 I figure 2.25" will be more than sufficient, and even 2.0" will probably be OK. Everything I have read indicates that the smaller tube is quieter.

I happen to have that exhaust system on my 1970 and like the tone as well as the amplitude. Mind you, some may think it's a little loud but, I think it's just perfect....for me anyway! It does exhibit the 2000 to 2500 rpm resonance but I never am in the range while playing in my Z....just pass though it during shifts. It will get a slight bit louder as time passes. Mines been on for just over 4 years and personally it's still not too loud. Bottom line......it sounds like a sports car!
