I was looking at who was on line and noticed one of the slurp spiders slurping (for want of a better word) an old topic from 2003.

Not remembering it, I click on it to refresh my memory, it was about counter-rotating water pumps, not that it matters anyway, useless topic that I contributed to.....anyway it got me thinking if this was a method of randomly highlighting old threads and showing then on the fromt page.

Something along the lines of Remember When?

So I got to thinking (to much spare time here), that it would be interesting to find the first thread or topic. I guessed that it would be by you, however, I was surprised by the result; Inconclusive! Why, because the search function returns only 20 pages!

Is there any way of being able to return more than 20 pagesor is there a method of being able to return results that are ancient?

Took a minute to find, but with the obvious greeting I'd say thats it.

After looking at your responses, I would have reasoned that the sort order

t=1 would be the earliest, however there is nothing contained here.

I have a suspiscion that some very early threads have been compressed and archived, don't quote me as I'm unsure.

Mike, where are you, which was the first post & the first question asked and who was the 2nd member (logically you must have been first)?
