Posted July 3, 200618 yr comment_173212 Hi everyone, exploring a little on intense zcar restoration. I have my 3rd zcar (1977 280z) in pieces in my garage and unfortunately not moving in the right direction. Floor pans, frame rails, firewall, and most every square inch of metal on my car has a lack of substance. I think I will have to travel outside of Illinois and find a straight rust free body to finish project. I look forward to any advice from you seasoned veterans out there. Happy 4th! July 3, 200618 yr comment_173215 You'll find those bodies in California and Arizona. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/20649-new-guy-with-a-plan/#findComment-173215 Share on other sites
July 4, 200618 yr comment_173264 Try Z source. They sell rust free z body shells at a reasonable (I think) price. The 240z bodies are around 1300. A 280z may be less? Good luck.
