I am surprised that Vaughn would want to play his older brother. Sure, Racer X was always in disguise, but I think it would be better to have someone else play X.

As to Vaughn being in his 30's, I think it would work. Keep in mind that characters in Anime always gravitate towards to age groups-the aged master/mind or the young hero/heroine (who always appear 14-16). Check outh the film Akira for the perfect example of this (or watch Speed Racer when you can).

Just as long as they don't cast Lindsey Lohan as Trixie, I don't much care who they cast.
