The canopy was also up when people were shooting at Speed (it was bulletproof.)

BTW, that DVD from Amazon.com was from the cartoon series, not the recent movie (maybe they never finished it??)

I am surprised that Vaughn would want to play his older brother. Sure, Racer X was always in disguise, but I think it would be better to have someone else play X.

As to Vaughn being in his 30's, I think it would work. Keep in mind that characters in Anime always gravitate towards to age groups-the aged master/mind or the young hero/heroine (who always appear 14-16). Check outh the film Akira for the perfect example of this (or watch Speed Racer when you can).

Just as long as they don't cast Lindsey Lohan as Trixie, I don't much care who they cast.
