Posted July 4, 200618 yr comment_173297 I have an original 1978 280Z and the Cad plated fuel rails are badly oxidized and just plain scuzzy looking. Is there such a thing as new or rebuilt stuff available?? Same goes for all the lids/caps on all the fluid holders throughout the engine. In other words , how do you take 28 years of grime off this stuff clean it or replace it to get it into show condition???? July 4, 200618 yr comment_173338 Might be able to get the fuel rails from the dealership.......maybe. Here's the part numbers for the all three (3) fuel rails. Fuel pipe (A) P/N: 17521-N4201 - The big long one Fuel pipe ( P/N: 17522-N4201 - Front rail Fuel pipe © P/N: 17523-N4201 - Rear rail If you can get them you're looking at approx. $200.00+ just for the rails. You could probably get the fuel rails media blasted and or replated or powder coated for less than that. The rest you could probably do yourself depending on how handy you are with a paint gun..... webdawg1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/20661-new-or-rebuilt-injector-fuel-rails-and-tubing/#findComment-173338 Share on other sites
