Hey guys,

This is my first car I've ever worked on. Im 20 yrs old going to Cal Poly. Bought the car in November 2005. Its a 3/74 260z. Didn't run good, flat tops, suspension was gone, brakes were gone, and the paint was faded and oxidized.

How does she sound? The engine clip has a large knocking you can hear, I know its cuz the air lid isn't on and the hose that connect up to the bottom on the back plate makes the noise.

Hey Joe,

Looks and sounds pretty good. What did you have to do to the suspension and how long did that task take? After my carb swap I just got done to the U-jounts, but I think I need to do the ones on the drive shaft as well.

Bill

Well, the suspension started Thanksgiving and ended end of January. That was while going to school and working. I did all urethane everywhere under the car, tokico illuminas, and AZ car springs. I painted and cleaned some stuff up under there while I was taking my time. I'd say if I had all the tools and everything, it could be done in a weekend. (48 hours straight) haha. Carb swap took a weekend, thanks a lot to you colorado! I gotta now do tranny and differential fluid, and fix the urethane squeaks, and clunks of drivetrain. Also did the S12+8 brake swap.
