Here and there I have come across references to strengthening the rear suspension arm on the C110 but no details.

I have yet to simply bend one without a crash and am curious about what is the supposed weakness and where the failure area is.

Sure, they bend when you hit something going sideways but then there's usually plenty of collateral damage too.

Can anyone enlighten me ?

Any of you where to get rear shocks? Are they still available?

I can't find any information in Europe.

All the newer sales listings of the known brands don't list the shock absorber anymore.

I have KYB shocks and struts on my car. Apparently, they fit the C10, however, probably not listed as such. I'll have to check the paperwork for part numbers.

Paperwork has the following numbers on them. It's all written in Japanese, so I can't be sure, but it is the only numbers that look like part numbers. At least it's a start.

Front struts: 10201-83004-09. These are 4 setting adjustable struts, with 1 being the softest and 4 being the hardest rate.

Rear shocks: 10161-93001-02. The are 8 setting adjustable struts, with 1 being the softest and 8 being the hardest rate.

If you want scans of the paper, I can get it and mail it to you.
