mazdatsun428 Posted December 17, 2007 Share #37 Posted December 17, 2007 I don't think the big green beastie will want to get out of its climate-controlled slumber, and besides,... due to the snowstorm, let alone getting out of the 200-foot driveway! Pictures of the snowstorm, Saturdayafternoon. \/ \/ \/ If I'd been here 6 mos. ago, you could have had my 85 CJ w/working Meyer snowplow dirtcheap. Traded it to a friend for a paintjob on my RX. The neighbors used to love me! NOT so much anymore, too many cars.
TomoHawk Posted December 17, 2007 Author Share #38 Posted December 17, 2007 I don't suppose you can put a snow plow on your Z.... Or maybe just a big, double-reinforced chin spoiler? :nervous:

Or maybe just a big, double-reinforced chin spoiler? :nervous:Isn't there a specially modified CAT version 280ZX somewhere you could borrow? I know there is a picture in the archives....Will

hls30.com Posted January 29, 2008 Share #45 Posted January 29, 2008 Grumbling over it not being on the weekend, and commoenting the posted schedule has "Tentative" written all over it.Will
TomoHawk Posted January 29, 2008 Author Share #46 Posted January 29, 2008 The car show& judging will be on that Tuesday, so tentative means that certain other things might shift a day forward or back. You are welcome to give feedback to the event organizers, or you can host the convention yourself..
hls30.com Posted January 30, 2008 Share #47 Posted January 30, 2008 Tomohawk,I apologize that you felt the need to be smug in your reply, actually, the where and the when of the show doesn't affect my attendance, I'll be there and I won't waste my energy with feedback after the fact. My grumbling is more about ignoring the opportunity to get some serious public Z awareness and participation that a weekend show would bring that a weekday show denies. When my time comes, I'll just aim the show at being convenient to the largest number of people, cordially invite everyone, and actually make some new Z converts by allowing them access to what is effectively a closed event.
