My second 240Z...

When I took my clock apart last weekend, it seemed to move freely, once I gave it a nudge. So, I put a drop of sewing machine oil in there and I've crossed my fingers that it will work again, once the dash goes back in. Mr. Scanlon says his has been running 4+ years since lubing his.

I did the nudge and oil thing on the first one, and it would run for anywhere between 6 and 20 minutes until it stops again. For this latest one, I think I may send it to Mr. Scanlon and let him do it - he may have the touch. (Or maybe it's just that he has better oil than I do.)

Send away, they're fairly easy to get running.

Do you need it calibrated?

If so, I need help in finding a good adjustable power supply. I have one for 12V, but I'm afraid I need 13 or even up to 14.5 to match battery voltages. The clock gets fed pretty much directly from the battery.

Hi Arne,

Its looks like a blue car in the pictures. Has it got a blue or black interior? If blue and in good shape, I might be interested in some of the interior parts.

Marty

Sorry, Marty. It was originally a blue car, but the interior is black.
