Yep the day has came, the day when a young man meets a beautiful lady and that beautiful lady is my Lady Z ...hehe I got one I put a down payment of $1100 and the finished payment will be on friday and I will have the car next week or the week after. ( To give me time to clear the garage) :):geek: :nervous:

The car I posted a couple of days ago that I didnt want I do now it is mine it is in Great condition and the engine runs really clean. It has the twice pipes exhaust sounds kinda loud, but I love it. The car's color is 303 emerald green I believe I'll know for sure once I look at the paint code.Oh yea and it has its original radio and it works :)

Heres a couple recent pics.....

Early 260. You'll have to change the car in your sigunature now. Looks good like much of the body work's been done. 77-78 280Z hood, and a similar air dam to the one on my car. Don't know if the 303 paint code made it to 74.

More pics and more info the dash has the infamous crack down the middle but other than that its perfect.the interior is good for what it is. The car has only a litlle surface rust and most of that has been cleared by the seller before i bought the car ( the silver primed spots all over the car) The hood has been test painted and it has decent wheels to me for a start as I work on the car. The tires are almost new and the engine is clean the headvalve cover just needs to be crome'd :).

The tranny was swapped to a 84 200sx tranny and is smoth as a babies botton my dad drove her to test her seeing as I didnt want to hurt the lady before I bought her...im alittle sticky with shifting right now. Shock towers valance fender floor pans (although a little dented) trunk area and frame rails are all clear of rust.

Chop . . .

the headvalve cover just needs to be crome'd :).

No, no, no! Don't even think of chroming that thing. Sandpaper, elbow grease and compound will bring that thing to a shine the rivals chrome. Of course, regular maintenance with polish will be necessary, but you won't regret it. Chrome on aluminum tends to pit and flake off after awhile.

Congratulations on fimally getting your Z.

Your signature should read: 1974 RLS30 not HLS30 since it's a 260Z. I see that it's already been converted to round tops, has a large aftermarket fuel filter, flex fan and adjustable front camber plates from what I can see. Is it an L26 or has it been changed?

I'm not sure, but im definilty going to look into it. Its funny how as soon as my dad heard that I wanted a Datsun he couldn't believe it he though I was joking, but once he realised that I was serious. Ever since then he's started going on and on about what we could do with the car( He is a Car Man that is his profession its what he loves) like droppin a small block in her ( not what i want) or adding superchargers. Upgrading the camshaft and addin big wheels and finders ( which would be nice but definitly not me)

Ken, looks like you got a great start on the Z. You can drive her around and have loads of fun, while upgrading a little at a time. Good pick. Rust in normal areas looks minimal. Good find
