Posted August 1, 200618 yr comment_176686 Ok, I give up. I have been searching and searching for a source for J.I.S. spec fasteners. I have come up with a few online dealers who have small selections of these bolts but none have a decent enough selection of bolts nuts, washers and staked(grade c)nuts in the grade and thread pitches I need. I guess I could try the dealer but I am thinking that I will probably pay a huge premium for what should be cheap components that I may be able to source elsewhere. If you know of a source for these parts please share the wealth and rescue me from Google land.P.S. I don't speak or read Japanese so please don't recommend a site in Japanese unless it can be navigated using English or imagery.Frustrated and beaten.... August 1, 200618 yr comment_176693 I also pull good condition harware from other Datsun/Nissans on every trip to the pick and pull-generally the hardware inside the car or under trim is in great shape. August 1, 200618 yr Author comment_176695 Yeah, I saw this one searching the board. Unfortunately these guys seem to have a very small selection as well, and dont have any of the bolts or nuts I am looking for save maybe one or two and they have the wrong finish. In addition, they only seem to have 5 JIS spec nuts, 3 of which are flanged. August 1, 200618 yr comment_176727 I bought the ones I couldn't find from the dealer, but in many cases the finish has gone from golden cadmium to tin silver. Will Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/21024-jis-spec-fastener-source/#findComment-176727 Share on other sites
August 1, 200618 yr Author comment_176754 Here's another source and it looks like they cater to enthusiasts as well. you can download their catalog in PDF format as well. Lots of great stuff and a decent colection of J.I.S. fasteners. I haven't ordered from them yet but I will be placing an order today. I'll let you all know how it turns out.http://www.hillcofasteners.com Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/21024-jis-spec-fastener-source/#findComment-176754 Share on other sites
