Maybe I'm too much of a purist, but...

I don't think it is too bad althought I did not really like it when I first saw it last Friday on ebay. I think the fender mirrors are inappropriate on a U.S. spec car especially without the G-nose. Also the wheels look a little over sized for the car. It is not a $12K car, I suspect the reserve is $11 or 12K but the car is at best a $5-6K car. Looks like it will be staying in Oregon for a few more years.

He's been trying to sell it on Craigslist for several months, for about that same $12,500 price. I was hoping to see it in person at the Canby show, but it wasn't there. Not quite my cup of tea, either.

I guess i don't see what's so bad with the car. As far as personalizing a vehicle, this car is mild and not overboard by any means.I would have done things a little different but the car looks pretty good. I would rather see more tire and less wheel, and the zg flares aren't put on exactly right, but no mistaken that it's a Z.

Overall I would have to say that I like this car, I dont see whats wrong with it. There are some little things that I dont like about like the fender mirrors (without the G-nose they look out of place), the rear window louvers and the headlight covers I'm not a fan of either. But I liked this one as a first impression, even though its not worth $12K.

Ok, although not what I would do to the car, I'm not grossed out either.

So, could you define "Weird" please?

That he's asking too much money is typical. He's invested a lot of money into putting what HE considers to be the ultimate performance package together and now he wants to get his $ out. Unfortunately, "Ultimate" is a question begging term and is highly subjective to the user.

FWIW
