Posted August 3, 200618 yr comment_176965 out. The gouge is very minor and is only prevelent near the edge. A quick, careful grinding eliminated all the burrs.Should I be concerned or is it ok? August 3, 200618 yr comment_176967 It should be fine, but don't you just hate the care that people take when it isn't their own car? Just be sure the sharp edges are removed. Don't want to slice yourself down the road. You using poly bushings? August 3, 200618 yr Author comment_176969 Yep, I am going with a set of poly bushing in the control arms. I figured it would be ok if I removed all of the sharp edges, but confirmation certainly helps to assuage my fears.I would have burned them out myself, but I did not want to annoy my neighbors (live in a townhome, have a garage) with the acrid smell of burning rubber.
