You lucky guys across the pond, seem to be able to pick up anything for your Z from a local Nissan dealer. In the UK 99% of dealers have never even heard of a 240Z, let alone supply parts for them.

To get to the point, is there anyone in the US who can ship gearbox bits [synchro rings, gears etc] to the UK?

Try Courtesy Nissan. They are in Richardson, Texas and have supported the Z Car Community on the Internet here in the US for many years. Some of the guys in their Parts Department actually own 240-Zs.
