Yes-depending on how well you cut the old one off..the part pictured will replace the butt end of all Zs that came with big bumpers. You will have to reuse the metal filler sill for your bumper.

Micheal, the guy who has the part said:

"1977 thru to 1978 aren't same structure from 1975. All of those structure from the luggage and tire holder size has been slight change. You'll need to find those model Z from 1977 thru to 1978."

So, i guess i'll keep looking.

The tire tub is a different depth, the late cars had a raised false floor, but the panel you pictured does not contain any sheet metal pertinant to thise details. Do what you are comfortable with, and enjoy your car!
