There should be pic's of the one I have for sale. I the bad part of mine is someone cut the J pipe to use a intercooler. But still useable.EricI think the intercooler on the BAE setup seems like a sort of ingenious idea. I mean wasn't the biggest point of grief people had with aftermarket kits was overboosting and (therefore) prematurely cooking the piston rings... wouldn't an intercooler solve this problem?BTW, Eric I shot you an e-mail a while ago looking for info on that kit you had for sale, did it ever find its way to you? If they are 14x7 then I would go with a 225/60/14 tire and the Yokohama ES100 is a really decent tire for not a lot of money. If they are 15x7 then the 225/50/15 would be a great size. Don't worry as I have a 245/45/16 on the back of my 16x8 Epsilons on the '82 280ZX (previously they were on the gray '81 280ZX and even with a one inch drop from the Tokico springs there was never any rubbing whatsoever) and again the ES100 is a good deal. On the Epsilons I went with Bridgestone Potenza tires which were a bit more but they are really very nice. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Eric Eric, I have a set of installation instructions for the version of the kit you have(exhaust adaptor), but the set I pulled of this car actually has a cast exhaust manifold. Here are a few pics showing the manifold(KDMatt. note the port shape), and the wastegate. I'll clean everything up in the next few days and picture it side by side with the factory(and some upgraded) pieces from and '83. Will One further note, this car did have an oil accumulator that drained through the turbo on shut down-but the turbo won't spin...not a good testimonial to this type of oiling system...I have a Oregon Research Technology (not gone) system that interrupts the ignition circuit and pumps oil for ten seconds before allowing the car to start and again for five minutes after shutdown.
