Still, it's normal. You should also notice vaccum when you remove the oil cap from the valve cover. All ties of the PCV/EGR system. Look at both attachments depending upon which one applies to your car.

Mine is the second one,nd a I already have that diagram someplace. I'm still trying to find out where the P.C.V. thing is, or is that the hose under the intake? No dashpot either.

Should be located on the bottom of the intake and in the center. Should have a fairly good size rubber hose going from the PCV valve over to the pipe sticking out on the left front side of the engine just behind the front timing cover. PCV hoses are still available from the dealer as well. About $16.00 if I remember correctly.

Surprisingly, my hose is still supple, especially since it's so near the exhaust manifold. I'm going to have to get that hose off, and check & replace it and the p.c.v. valve.
