August 16, 200618 yr comment_178746 Ok. Well then you may be pleased to know that we plan to have a Dyno at the show and you may be able to see the fruits of your labor in documented bragging rights. It sounds to me like you have a Schneider cam http://www.schneidercams.com/cams/50.htm PN 17034 which is sold by MSA as 10-2003 and described as; " rougher idle, excellent performance, pulls hard from 3000 rpm to 6500 rpm". From your description of the E88 head, it sounds like you have a ported, big valve setup. My only suggestion is that you pay particular attention to the balance of the bottom end during your re-build. Balance everything, pulley to clutch, and get your pistons and rods to all weigh the same. That should give you plenty of excitement!See you at Z-Fest! August 16, 200618 yr Author comment_178750 You da man! Thanks for the info on the cam, I just want to make sure that I can give all the info available to the head shop. I hope I have it toghter in time to make the Zfest. I registered on the your site today. I got some work ahead but am dying to get back in it and drive. I was reading about the weight thing in a Hoffman book I have, I have a freind of mine that owns a local machine shop and is going to help me do it in his shop. He will probably do most of it but I want to do as much as I can. I will make sure the balancing happens.
