Thanks, Ron. I have a few e-mails out to racers to see if I can get any racing stories in print. It seemed like Don Devendorf might not be responsive from what you said a while back on westcoastZ, but I will try.

I will PM Dan Juday and see if he can get contact info from Bob Lapp's son in Rio Vista.

I've still got quite a few more negatives to scan and post. Eventually, I am going to have a Datsun only section on my ClassicRacingPhotos site.

Also, I have 15GB of space on DatsunRacing.US so if you have some Datsun racer/racing photos you want me to post, send them to me.

Bob Lapp JR., who owns Rio Vista Muffler, has done alot of work on my car and I see him ever so often. What would you like to know? I can relay it to him and get back to you. BTW his dad lives in Ca. and still drives and works on Z's.

Thanks Larry, Dan Juday sent me his contact info. I met Bob Lapp at one of the Hybrid meets and bought a set of IMSA front fenders from him.

Hi Dennis, I am trying to find my negatives from the 1975 Laguna Seca race but no luck yet. I had a great shot of the batmobile BMW lighting up its 14 inch slicks from behind down the straight. I will look more this weekend. If you have any GTU Z pictures I am trying to consolidate as much as I can on one site. I would of course credit you and link to your site.

Gav240Z, love your car. I attended a couple of these races in the 70's as a teenager and have been frustrated trying to find information and pictures of these cars and drivers so that is why the website.

Great site Steve! If I dig anything up I'll be sure to send it your way. Perhaps you should add an informational page on what GTU body kits are still available today and/or how they differed. As I'm sure you're aware of, there was a great thread on Hybrid not too long ago. I found DrSideways posts to be particularly valuble. I'm still trying to figure out how they were able to make the stub axles last with those monster wheels...
