Pertronix install

[72240Z]

Quite a while ago (probably a year ago or better) somebody posted a detailed explanation of how to correctly install a pertronix unit in a 240Z. In searching previous threads, I am unable to locate it. Would somebody be kind enough to point me in the right direction?

Bambikiller used to have a post on how to install the pertronix but it seems to have disapeared. The main thing to remember is that the wires on the pertronix are too short, and you have to lengthen them by about 12 inches in order to reach the coil. Other than that, the instructions with the product are okay.

check out Zhome.com, the pertronix instructions are slightly vague.

I am on the road right now, for most of the week, but Carl had sent me his instructions after his post was deleted. It would be on my home computer. If you need it PM me before Friday. I will not have time on the weekend, this coming weekend. Carl wouldn't mind you getting this personally as he was very helpful. He had other issues.
