Jim,

As others have stated, Motorsport should have a box for you. Make sure though that you get a set of baffles for the speakers http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/ISEO-rgbtcspd/learningcenter/car/component_speakers_installation_guide.html?page=7. I have a MSA box in my Z with 6x9 Infiniti Kappas and neglected to install the baffles; talk about rattling the rear end!!! Went back and installed them and the sound is great - inside and outside the car. Good louck!!

I have a circular perforated area above the towers as well. I assumed that they were for the vents. As for speakers, the PO cut holes in the doors as well as the rear side panels and put in some ultra cheapo(even for the 70-80's) speakers.

Good morning everybody. Thanks for all of the input. Last night I made my speaker box for the back of the car..It was a true trial and error process, at least for me lololol.....Now all I need to do is settle on what size and type of speakers to put in the case...Any suggestions here let me know....Your ideas are always welcome in my house :)

OK, I finally got my camera, campact flash card, charges batteries, ZX, and my brain all at the same place at the same time, here is what I did.

2 10 inch Cerwin Vega!(before the buyout) woofers in a box (I did the math and got the correct volume behind them) fitted into the fender., carpeted the box to match the floors and roof panel, and painted the grills to match the plastic.
